My Story............   

What can I say. Sometimes your wants win out over your needs. I wanted a Cadillac "Hot Rod" Not a "Rat Rod" but a true "Hot Rod."  When I saw this 65 "El Cadio" with only 61,280 miles the potential was obvious. I just had to have it. Thanks to E-Bay my dream came true on November 6, 2007.

My Flower Car has great bones for a truly classy classic Hot Rod. We started with a 429 Cu In engine producing 340 HP and 480 Ft Lbs of torque. ASs strong as the engine was we thought we could do better so we swapped out the engine with a better Cadillac 429 ground the valves, did a lot of tinkering an tuning.

This is my toy car, my puttering project, my thinking cap. When I have a snarly problem with whatever car I am working on and I need some time to think or just get away, this is where I can putter and clear my mind. This is a long term project, it will take several years to fully rebuild. All the while I have a classy Hot Rod I can take to anywhere.
